Prithviraj Sukumaran dubs in five languages for 'Salaar'

Reigning Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran is essaying a key role in his upcoming multilingual film ‘Salaar’ with superstar Prabhas and he was happy to dub his lines in the Telugu version besides others. “I have had the privilege of lending my voice for my characters across various languages I’ve worked in over the years. But to be dubbing for the same character in five different languages is a first to me,” he wrote and added, “In Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, and what a film to do it for. Deva and Vardha will meet you in theatres worldwide on the 22 December 2-23.”

The much-hyped film has triggered a lot of interest since Prashanth Neel is the most happening director after ‘KGF’ and is teaming up with pan-India star Prabhas has given a fillip to ‘Salaar’, a big-budget action adventure. “Prithviraj has done some Telugu films like ‘Police Police’ many years ago. He turned director with Malayalam superhit film ‘Lucifer’ and it was remade in Telugu as ‘Godfather’ with Chiranjeevi in the lead,” says a source.

The actor became closer to Telugu viewers since his big movies like “Kaapa’, ‘Jana Gana Mana’ and ‘Cold’ were a big hit among Telugu OTT viewers as he showcased his immense talent in varied roles. "His hard-hitting film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ was remade in Telugu as ‘Bheemla Nayak’ with Pawan Kalyan," he concludes.
