With his films doing good business, Vijay Deverakonda is still regarded as hot property in trade circles. After a rather long delay, his film Taxiwala will be releasing on November 16 and its reception will prove crucial to the actor’s future.
His earlier film, Geetha Govindam, directed by Parasuram, was a huge hit. But his next film NOTA turned out to be a dud. Taxiwala was supposed to be released a long time back, but was delayed due to its graphics. So now, the actor will be facing stiff competition from Ravi Teja, whose Amar Akbar Anthony, directed by Sreenu Vaitla, is also releasing at the same time. It’s going to be Ravi Teja vs Vijay Deverakonda at the Tollywood box office.
Taxiwala was signed before his other film Arjun Reddy, but the movie needed a lot of graphics and was hence delayed. Director Rahul Sankrityan will be testing his luck with this low budget film.
