A picture is worth a thousand words! A few days back, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu attended the 10th day ceremony of his brother-in-law N Harikrishna, who died in a road accident. The CM met Harikrishna’s two sons and spoke to them at length.
Jr NTR was seen whispering something to the CM, while the latter bent his head to listen intently. This picture has since been circulating on social media and led to intense speculation that Jr NTR may campaign for the Telugu Desam Party. Ironically, Jr NTR’s father Harikrishna was not on good terms with the party when he was alive. And while his son Jr NTR campaigned for the TDP in the 2008 elections, he too distanced himself from the party after that.
Now, this picture has revived talk of Jr NTR coming back to politics. However, his close associates deny the news. “In the last couple of years, his career is on an upward swing and he wants to continue with it. He feels that this is not the time to enter politics; if and when the time comes, he will announce his agenda,” says a source close to the actor.
