Superstar Mahesh Babu’s fans gifted him a record-breaking birthday celebration, with the hashtag #HBDMaheshBabu registering over 60.2 million tweets.
The actor had requested his fans to avoid public gatherings in view of the pandemic, and spent the day quietly with his family after planting a tree at his residence to mark the occasion.
But his fans ensured that the birthday greetings amounted to the world’s biggest trend on Twitter till date. Over 1.28 lakh people participated in the trend, which is also a new record.
Meanwhile, the motion poster of Sarkaru Vaari Paata that was released on the occasion of the Superstar’s birthday received an exceptional response.
Parasuram will be directing the movie and Thaman will compose the tunes. Mahesh will join the sets only after the pandemic dies down.
