Meanwhile, the film's director Nakkina Trinadha Rao makes light of the incident.
Just a couple of days back, actress Anupama Parameswaran posted a picture of herself with veteran actor Prakash Raj on her Twitter account. However, it appears all is not well between the two. A source reports that the actor criticised Anupama so harshly while shooting for their film Hello Guru Premakosame that the actress could not control her emotions, and collapsed on the sets. The unit immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital where she recovered in half an hour. However, the shooting of the film was cancelled for the next three days because of this incident, adds the source.
When contacted, director Nakkina Trinadha Rao however, made small of the incident.
“Senior actors are always advising the younger actors on the sets to improvise and it’s a common thing. In this particular scene too, Prakash Raj wanted to improvise the scene and advised her accordingly. Perhaps she may have felt hurt because of that. But it’s not a big issue,” he says.
Refuting rumours that the actress had to be rushed to the hospital on account of this incident, he says, “Anupama was dull from morning onwards and continued to shoot even though we asked her to take rest. She had a case of food poisoning and went to the nearby hospital in the studio, but returned after ten minutes.” He further clarifies, “The shooting was not cancelled because of this, but we had Prakash Raj’s dates only till that day, which is why there was no shoot the next day. We later continued and both are acting together.”
It seems the makers did not want any bad publicity for the film, so they asked the two to patch up, which may explain why the actress posted a selfie of her with Prakash Raj on her Twitter account.
