Nani sure has got quite a following in the US. While several of his earlier movies have performed well at the US box-office, his latest release Ninnu Kori is also doing phenomenal business, grossing approximately $785,000 in the opening weekend. Seems like it may easily cross the one million mark pretty soon.
“Nani is quite a favourite with the Telugu audiences in the US. It’s generally assumed that his films will be entertaining and so, just a good review can do wonders. For Ninnu Kori, the buzz has been great,” informs a box-office tracker from the US.
The surprise element is Kona Venkat, who seems to have come back to form with the film. His writing too, has elevated the film a great deal. Directed by debutant Shiva Nirvana, the film also stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Nivetha Thomas in the lead roles.
