Since the start of his career, actor Varun Tej has tried his hand at different kinds of films. Be it Kanche, Antariksham, Fidaa or F2, all his films have belonged to different genres. Now, for his next film, Valmiki, he is teaming up with director Harish Shankar who is known to showcase his male leads in a new light.
The duo’s first collaboration is all set to hit the screens on September 6. Produced on the 14 Reels Plus banner by Ram and Gopi Achanta, the film also stars Tamil actor Atharvaa Murali in a key role.
Incidentally, Valmiki is a remake of the hit Tamil movie Jigarthanda. “But we have made several changes to the script to suit the sensibilities of the Telugu audience. The writing and screenplay is very sharp and will give a new high to the audience. Also, Varun Tej will be sporting a new look for the film,” reveal the film’s producers.
Pooja Hegde and Mrunalini Ravi are playing the female leads. Shooting has been going on at a quick pace with important scenes already filmed....
