The ensemble cast of Sye Raa just got bigger as the latest entrant to join the period drama is Tamannaah Bhatia. Days after she bagged Venkatesh’s project, it is learnt that the actress would be part of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s prestigious film, that too in a crucial role.
Although she had earlier expressed interest to share screen space with Chiranjeevi, this would be the first time she would rub shoulders with the Megastar.
Apparently, when Tamannaah was approached for the role, she instantly gave her nod, since apart from her meaty role, she also saw an opportunity to be part of a great project with Chiru.
A source informs, “Director Surender Reddy was looking for an A-lister who could do justice to an impactful character. He believed Tamannaah would be the right choice.”
With this, the actress also joins a niche club of working with the father-son duo as she earlier worked with Ram Charan in Racha.
Looks like the film’s producer Ram Charan is pulling off a casting coup of sorts!
