Seasoned star Nagarjuna seems to have taken the upcoming clash at ticket windows during Sankranthi sportingly and wished his arch rivals good luck during a promotional event of ‘Naa Saami Ranga’. “I wish Venkatesh who has completed 75 films in Telugu film industry and Mahesh Babu who completed 25 years in Tollywood all the best for their films since ‘Saindhav’ and ‘Guntur Kaaram’ respectively are hitting the screens during festival,” he says and adds, “I also wish child artist-turned-actor Tejja Sajja who is coming up with ‘Hanu Man’ all the best,” he added.
He claimed that he had tasted success during Sankranthi season in the past and hopes to repeat the magic with his upcoming release ‘Naa Saami Ranga’. “If audience likes a film they would definitely make it a winner. I have experienced this in two previous Pongal holidays and I wish they continue their patronage this time too,” he points out.
Nagarjuna has gone in for a makeover and looked handsome in a lungi clad avatar in ‘Naa Saami Ranga’. While his earlier rural-based movies ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and ‘Bangarraju’ rocked the box office in the two Telugu states. “Sankranthi in Telugu states is a festival for Tollywood too,” he concludes.
