Glad to work in a comic caper, says Tamannaah
Actress Tamannaah will be next seen in a comic caper F2 – Fun and Frustration, directed by Anil Ravipudi. The actress says that she was instantly hooked to the plot line after listening to the script and feels that F2 is a true situational comedy.
“I have been in films that are high on slapstick comedy, but F2 is a film that is based on situational comedy. People can better connect to the sitcom if it is diligently blended with humour and drama, and that’s what F2 is all about. It is a complete package of entertainment.”
Describing director Anil Ravipudi as humble, she says, “He’s very simple and supportive on the sets. He knows what exactly he wants.”
Clarifying on the rumours that Tamannaah doesn’t hang out with co-stars and spend time with them on the sets, the Baahubali actress explains, “Yes, generally people say so, but that’s because of the space that I need. But for this film, F2, I had a blast on the sets and all the credit goes to the director for bringing and holding us together as a cohesive unit.”
The actress is paired opposite Venkatesh in the breezy entertainer, and he has inspired her a lot.
“Venkatesh garu has done several films, but he still brings freshness to the role. His approach to filmmaking is something everyone has to learn. His expressions and child-like attitude on the sets is something no one can decode,” she smiles.
