Ajay Bhupathi to direct himself?

Buzz is that director Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 fame will soon make his debut as an actor. Following the huge success of his debut film, Bhupathi was all set to start his next film, Maha Samudram, with two lead actors. While the film originally featured Ravi Teja and Siddharth in the lead roles, the project did not materialise leaving the director scrambling at the last minute, especially as he was keen to start shooting the film in October. “If he cannot find any substitute, the director may make his acting debut as one of the leads,” says a source close to Ajay Bhupathi. Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya and his wife Samantha have evinced interest in the project, and Chay may be roped in as one of the leads.
