Nikhil’s upcoming film directed by debutant Sharan Koppisetti is going to be shot in a college in Vijayawada. “The makers selected nearly 100 people to play students’ roles and they will soon leave for Vijayawada in buses and trains,” says a source. The team has also hired a college campus where they have planned a month long schedule.

The film is based on the Kannada blockbuster Kirak Party, which is a college story as well. Two directors Chandu Mondeti and Sudheer Varma have also been involved in the project for the dialogues and the screenplay respectively.

“Both directors are good friends of Nikhil and have also received a big amount for their work. Apparently, the actor is insisting they come to the shooting spot and assist the debutant director,” says a source.
