Malavika Nair, who was last seen in the Kalyaan Dhev-starrer Vijetha, has something interesting coming up. The actress, who wooed audiences with her textured performance in both Yevade Subramanyam and Kalyana Vaibhogame, is set to team up with Raj Tarun next.
The film, to be directed by Vijay Kumar Konda of Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde, is a breezy entertainer, and will have the leading lady in a commanding portrayal. Malavika will be seen in a rather funky look, very unlike the characters she has played earlier. “Director Vijay Kumar Konda believes that he had a compressive narrative, and is all set to take the film on floors soon. The story brings out a sensitive yet an edgy side of a love story, and with a plotline so quirky, it’ll be fun to see this talented collaboration,” informs a source. With Raj Tarun and Malavika’s fresh pairing set to take on the silver screen, the filmmakers are confident that the movie will touch a chord with all. Earlier, Shalini Pandey was rumoured to play Raj Tarun’s love interest, but that doesn’t seem to be the case given this latest development.
