Actor Nani has fixed September 13 as the release date for his new film, Gang Leader, directed by Vikram K. Kumar. Marking the first time collaboration between the two, expectations from the film are quite high, especially as director Vikram is known for versatile films like Manam, 24, Ishq, 13B and Hello while Nani is one of the industry’s most bankable actors, who has delivered many successful films in the last few years. The makers are also buoyed by the response to the teaser and a song from the breezy entertainer.
“Nani’s performance was highly appreciated in his earlier film Jersey, and expectations continue to be high for this upcoming film. The actor hopes that the success streak will continue,” says a source from the unit.
