Director Krish seems to be pulling off a casting coup of sorts for his upcoming biopic on NTR starring Balakrishna and Vidya Balan. Meanwhile, the film’s producers — Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati — are keen to make the film no less than an epic.
With the filmmakers recently roping in Rana Daggubati for the role of Chandrababu Naidu (NTR’s second son-in-law), the spotlight has now turned on who would play Daggubati Venkateswara Rao, NTR’s elder son-in-law.
Since the biopic will focus on how NTR became the Chief Minister, the role of both his sons-in-law will be shown in the film. While Chandrababu Naidu played a pivotal role in getting the TDP (Telugu Desam Party) back into power with NTR as the Chief Minister of AP in 1984, Daggubati Venkateswara Rao too played a crucial role in the formation of the party, much before Naidu even joined the TDP. With a star like Rana already on board, will the filmmakers cast another star hero for Venkateswara Rao’s role? One needs to wait and watch!
