After foraying into Bollywood with Julie 2, actress Raai Laxmi has signed her next film, a comic caper that will be directed by Deepak Tijori. Talking about her role, Laxmi states, “I wanted to do a light-hearted film where I would get the opportunity to be more casual and like myself on the sets. Deepak Tijori’s film gave me exactly that. Also, I don’t want to be typecast in my roles, so something like this will help me branch out to another genre.”
The film is slated to be a fun thriller shot on the lines of the Hollywood film, Hangover. “The best part of the project is that I get to shoot with my friends who are also my co- actors (Nazia Hussainami, Shama Sikander, Alankrita Sahai and Kainaat Arora) in the film. It’ll be shot in London and I am looking forward to having a blast on the sets,” shares the actress who is currently shooting for, Ananda Bhairavi.
