After making her Telugu debut with Balakrishna-starrer Jai Simha, Natasha Doshi has landed another project. The actress will be seen as the leading lady in Srikanth’s forthcoming film Koothalarauydu, directed by Sudheer Raju.
While she enthralled the audience with her glamorous role in Jai Simha, the actress states that her forthcoming role is a complete contrast.
“I play Dhanalaxmi, a village belle, and the role is that of a traditional Telugu girl. I’ll be sporting half-sarees in the film,” shares Natasha, adding, “When I heard the narration, I felt that it was a new character, and the audience will be pleasantly surprised with my makeover.”
The actress adds that Jai Simha was a learning experience. “I learnt a lot while working for that film. I was new to the language (Telugu), but now I am slowly picking it up and am able to strike a conversation. The film industry has given me a warm reception and I would love to do more Telugu films,” she adds.
