A picture of Prabhas with a small kid is doing the rounds on social media. The Internet is abuzz with reports that the iconic scene where Ramya Krishna’s character, Sivagami lifts an infant and announces that he is Mahendra Baahubali was in fact, picturised on this infant. The truth is that this photo was taken a few months before, during the climax shoot of Baahubali: The Conclusion.
“We are family friends of Prabhas and visited the sets of Baahubali two months ago when this photo was clicked. We put it on our Facebook page and somebody posted it and the photo went viral. We are getting so many calls every day and are telling people that our child didn’t act in the epic drama and that we just clicked a random picture with Prabhas,” says Akshara, the child’s mother, and an IT professional.
Her husband is the founder of a Digital Marketing Company and a former cricketer, who plays for Hyderabad Heroes in the Indian Cricket League (ICL). He has also played a few first class matches.
“Many people have been posting this picture and some websites have even misused it. Our kid never acted in the film, he is just one year-old and we took this picture two months back,” say the parents, hoping that with this announcement, people can stop circulatinf the photo.
