After a brief hiatus, Anu Emanuel seems to be signing films in quick succession. After putting her name down for Bellamkonda Srinivas’ film, the Majnu star has now signed on for Allu Sirsh’s next.
Anu will play the female lead in Sirish’s film to be directed by Rakesh Sashi of Vijhetha fame. The film is a breezy entertainer and the director was looking for an actress who can be very expressive and natural in her approach. He had seen Anu’s earlier performances and finalised her for the part.
While Rakesh is giving final touch to the script, the official announcement about the actress’ name is expected soon. “The film is a new-age drama and features Anu Emmanuel and Allu Sirish in entertaining roles. The entire unit is thrilled with their interesting on-screen chemistry and can’t wait to take the film on the floors,” according to a source.
