It’s going to be a hectic Sunday for Tollywood with all its actors busy voting at the Movie Artiste Association (MAA) election. Two panels, led by V. K. Naresh and Sivaji Raja respectively, are contesting the election. The real surprise, however, comes with Nagababu’s announcement. The actor has declared that he will be supporting Naresh’s panel at the upcoming election and has asked everybody to give them an opportunity.
He explained that since he has served in the capacity once already, he does not intend to do it again. Similarly, since Sivaji Raja is contesting for the second time, Nagababu refuses to support him.
Nagababu added that new individuals deserve a chance, especially women such as Jeevitha, who is contesting for the position of the General Secretary. “I’m hoping to see a woman serving in a key position in the MAA Executive Committee,” said Nagababu to the Naresh’s panel during their meeting. The election is scheduled to happen on Sunday. Many stars may cast their vote in the first few hours itself after voting begins.
