Hyderabad: After producing an award winning short film ‘Life is Beautiful’ to create awareness on the effects of drunken driving, the Rachakonda Police have sponsored another short film titled ‘Marolokam’ on drug abuse and its ill effects, particularly on students. The 15-minute long film,  featuring actors Sana and Sameer and directed by Shashank Ramanujapuram will be released on Saturday.

Rachakonda Commissioner Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat in an official release said that they had sponsored the film because of its strong social message. "90 seconds of this film will be screened in movie theaters", said Mr. Bhagwat.

 

Director Shashank who had also directed the short film- "Life is Beautiful" said that he was deeply affected by the many issues and cases that surface because of drug abuse.
