Film's success lies in satisfaction not money: Nagarjuna

NARSINGPALLY: Film actor Akkineni Nagarjuna said the best film in his career will be Namo Venkateshaya scheduled to be released on February 10. A film’s success does not depend on box office collection and the number of days it was screened but on the amount of satisfaction an actor can draw from it,” he said.

Films like Namo Venkateshaya give immense satisfaction, happiness and makes us feel blessed and so I consider it the best film in my career,” he added.
Mr Nagarjuna, along with his co-stars in the film, Sourabh Jain (who enacted the role of Lord Venkateswara), actresses Pragya Jaiswal, Aditi Menon, producer A. Mahesh Reddy and others visited Indur Tirumala temple here on Thursday.

The film crew offered prayers to Lord Venkateshwara and interacted with the audience. Ace film producer Dil Raju, Maa Palle charitable trust founder V. Narasimha Reddy welcomed the actors.

Mr Nagarjuna said that spirituality will bring unity and cooperation among people, this can be seen prominently in rural areas. It should be adapted by people in urban habitations too,” he said.

The actor said he was lucky to act in devotional films like Annamayya, Sriramadas, Shirdi Sai. Mr Nagarjuna appreciated Dil Raju’s family members for organising Amrutha Prasana programme on the temple premises on the auspicious Pushyami Nakshtram day of every month.

He said many parents formed queues along with their children to take part in Amrutha Prasana. The programme is being held even in Sydney and Singapre,”he said Carrying forward the Indian tradition even in other countries is appreciable, he said. He urged the people to watch his film and feel blessed.
