Raj Kandukuri backs yet another new talent

Raj Kandukuri, who introduced short film director Tharun Bhascker with the film Pelli Choopulu, is all set to encourage another new talent. Raj is planning a film Mental Madilo, with debutant director Vivek Athreya. “He has done a few short films and is very impressive,” says Raj about Vivek. He has also roped in Sri Vishnu as the lead actor for this film. “He is a talented actor and I am sure he is going to reach great heights soon,” says the producer. “It’s a comic subject with a beautiful story line,” he says about the upcoming film. Raj is planning to start the shooting of this film from December 21 onwards. “Apart from this, a few other young directors also approached me with their subjects. I want to introduce new talent,” he says.
