Big B Remuneration For Rajinikanth Movie

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has become very selective about his roles these days and is doing a south film after a big gap. He is teaming up with superstar Rajnikanth in his 170th film and the two big stars are joining hands after nearly 32 years as they earlier worked together in Hindi film ‘Hum’ in 1991.

“Amitabh was impressed with the role narrated by director Gnanavel and agreed to be part of this big ticket project and share screen space with Rajnikanth,” says a source and adds, “Amitabh is drawing a pay cheque for Rs 13 crore and has allotted 35 days for this action adventure. The film will be shot in Mumbai and other places,” the source adds.

Actually, Amitabh prefers to work with a group of directors in Bollywood and likes to be in a comfort zone. He is also showing interest to do challenging roles because he has done so many roles in his illustrious career and doesn’t want to repeat himself," the source adds.

Meanwhile, in the midst of his busy work, Amitabh got to meet a Telugu director and also gave him an appointment to listen to his story. "’Deewar’ star was stunned with the unique storyline narrated by Telugu director Ashok Kumar who made the blockbuster Telugu film ‘Bhaagamathie’. He gave his nod to this gripping entertainer impressed by the captivating narration and the film will soon go on sets," adds the source.

Coming to Tollywood, Big B has also worked with Megastar Chiranjeevi in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and breathed life into the role of a guru in the historical movie, while Chiranjeevi claimed that ‘Amitabh was his mentor and guru in real-life’.
