Post the super success of Kabir Singh, director Sandeep Vanga has been asked only one question wherever he goes, “What’s your next film?” Even as people imagined he would direct a Mahesh Babu-starrer in a big-ticket Telugu flick Sandeep sprung a surprise.
We have reliably learnt that the producers of Kabir Singh, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde, were so impressed with Sandeep’s clinical approach to direction and production during the film’s making that they had hoped to collaborate with him again. And when they approached the director for another film, the filmmaker obliged. But that’s not all. Sandeep will also be co-producing the film.
“Sandeep believes that his script has great potential to be a box-office grosser. He is keen to co-produce the film under his banner Bhadrakali Pictures as he feels that the script has a universal appeal. The modalities and other paper work are currently underway,” informs a source in the know.
