There are reports that Kannada actor Sudeep is playing a key role in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. But a unit source says that it is a baseless rumour and that the cast has not yet been finalised.
There are also reports that Chiranjeevi wants to rope in a few actors from all the film industries like Sudeep from Kannada, Siva Karthikeyan from Tamil and Amitabh Bachchan from Hindi.
“Sudeep and Siva Karthikeyan are just rumours, but it is true that we approached Amitabh, and he responded positively. However, we are still waiting for a confirmation,” says the source.
Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan is producing this film and the shooting may begin from October. The makers are likely to announce the entire cast a few days before the launch.
