I look to Trivikram for advice, says Nithiin

Actor Nithiin, who will soon be seen in Hanu Raghavapudi's LIE, talks about his upcoming film and his choices.

After delivering his career best with the blockbuster A... Aa, Nithiin Reddy will soon be seen in LIE.

Explaining why he took time to come up with this film after the huge success of A... Aa, the actor says, “The success of the film put me in a dilemma and I was confused about my next film. Then I called Trivikram garu for advice. He told me not to do a regular film and try something different. After listening to several scripts, I zeroed in on director Hanu Raghavapudi’s script and that’s how LIE happened.”

He describes the film as an emotional love story with stylish action sequences. “The scenes between me and Megha Akash have come out well, and it’s an interesting film,” says Nithiin.

Meanwhile, yesteryear actor Arjun is playing a villain in the film. “I worked with him in Sri Anjaneyam more than a decade ago and he still looks the same! Without him, the film wouldn’t shape up like this. There’s a thrilling fight between us in the film,” reveals the actor.

It’s no secret that Nithiin is a huge fan of Pawan Kalyan as he has openly spoken about it several times. “I grew up watching Pawan Kalyan films and entered the industry with him as a huge inspiration. So I always use a scene or a dialogue of his in my films. In this film too, I have used a scene of his film Thammudu,” he says.

Nithiin looks uber stylish in this film and he reveals that a lot of work went into it. “Once we decided to work together, Hanu and I travelled a lot before shoot. We hired Alexander Vijay as the stylist. You will surely see a new Nithiin in this film!” he says.

Nithiin says Trivikram Srinivas, who he worked with earlier, is his guru. “Whenever I need advice or have a problem, I look to him for advice. I don’t hesitate to ask him anything, whether it’s personal or professional,” reveals. The actor’s next is being produced by Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas. Starring Megha Akash as female lead, it will be helmed by Krishna Chaitanya.
