Over the last few days, the news about the biopic on late legendary actor NTR is doing rounds. It is being directed by none other than Ram Gopal Varma, so the film may touch on a few controversies too. When asked about the biopic, Jr NTR says he is very happy.
“Rama Rao garu is not confined to one family as he is owned by all the Telugu people. So when a biopic is going to be made on him, it is for all the Telugu people, so I am happy,” says Jr NTR.
When asked about Balakrishna, his uncle and the son of late NTR, playing the title role, Jr NTR welcomes it by saying “Brahmandam (superb).”
On the controversies RGV might show in the film, Jr NTR says, “It’s too early; better to talk after the film releases”. If he is offered a role in the film, will he act? “I didn’t think about it,” he says.
The actor also spoke about his upcoming reality show Bigg Boss, which will start from July 16.
“I love challenges and I am taking up this show too as a challenge. I never did a show or have even seen one. So, how am I going to host this show is a big challenge for me,” says Jr NTR. He added that he is going to play his natural self as he doesn’t want to prepare for this particular show.
It has been reported earlier that the Hindi show is a bit vulgar, but the actor promised that the Telugu one will be completely different and will reflect Telugu sensibilities.
“Today, the social media plays a big part and it is easy to know about a person. Everyone is under the social media glare, so people want to know more about other’s private life. I think this point is going to make this Bigg Boss a huge success,” he says. Does he want to know about anyone’s private life? “Yes, my wife’s and son’s,” he says in a lighter vein.
“Earlier my son used to say he likes me a lot. Now, he is going to school and I am busy with my shooting. Recently, when I asked my son whom he likes most, he said ‘mother’. I want to know when did this change occur,” says the actor, jokingly. He adds that he too doesn’t know who the 16 contestants participating in the show are.
