Popular Youtube star Naveen Polisetty has turned lead actor with his forthcoming film, Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya, which also happens to be Swaroop’s debut directorial. Its trailer was launched on Friday, and Mahanti director Nag Ashwin did the honours for the film’s team. From its first look, the film appears to be a thriller comic elements incorporated in its story.
The actor revealed how his father was against him taking up acting as a profession. “That is how I ended up an IITian and subsequently took up a job in London,” he said. “A few years ago, however, I gave up the job to pursue acting full time.”
“I then decided I should polish my acting skills, so I joined a theatre group in Mumbai. I also put out a bunch of videos on Youtube while simultaneously working as a writer for a company. And now, I'’e landed the lead role in Agent Sai Srinivas Atreya, and I couldn’t be happier,” he said.
