Brahmanandam is slowly fading out of sight after the failure of his last big film Nela Ticket. Once the top comedian of the industry, he has no films in hand now.
The actor done over 1000 films in his career, including a few that released this year, but he didn’t have a significant role in any of them. He played a fairly major role in the recently-released Achari America Yatra, but that film vanished from theatres just a day after its release.

Apparently, the Brahmanandam-brand of comedy has become old and filmmakers are looking for fresh talent these days. Priyadarshi, Vennela Kishore, and Shakalaka Shankar are some of the up-and-coming names, who are busy with several projects. Moreover, filmmakers are no longer willing to pay Brahmi the high remuneration that his experience demands. This could very well be the end of the Brahmanandam era.
