It is learnt that the actress will play the female lead in the Telugu remake of Aandavan Kattalai.

Actress Swathi Reddy, well known as Colors Swathi, has been on a brief hiatus for a while now, but it looks like she is back in the reckoning. It is learnt that the actress will play the female lead in the Telugu remake of Aandavan Kattalai, the 2016 Vijay Sethupathi-starrer which starred Ritika Singh as the female lead. Swathi will be playing Ritika’s role.
“Swathi has watched the film earlier and was happy to be a part of its remake. She liked the concept of the satirical drama, and has begun shooting too. This narrative has been tweaked to suit Telugu nativity,” reveals a source in the know. The film is being directed by Brother of Bommali director Chinni Krishna and has Rakshak, a newbie, playing the male lead.
