Prakash Raj and Jagapathi Babu in Gudachari

The filmmakers are also very keen to rope in veteran actor Krishna for a small role.

The small-budget film Gudachari became big news with two senior actors, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj getting roped in for the film. “The two actors are playing very important roles in the film,” informs producer Abhishek Nama.

Adivi Sesh plays the lead role while Shobita Dhulipala plays the female lead. Currently, the film is being shot in Hyderabad.

The makers have also approached legendary actor Krishna for a small role. “Krishna garu is known for his Bond films in Telugu and is also nicknamed as Andhra James Bond. My film is of the same genre, so we requested him to do a small role,” says Abhishek Nama. But the veteran actor didn’t say anything as he doesn’t want to do any films now. He assured the team that he will give his support to the film.

“The makers want to meet him again and request him to act in a couple of scenes,” says a source. The actor asked the makers if they can use the scenes from his old Bond films instead. “They are planning to take clippings from Krishna’s old films and may play those at the beginning of the film when the title cards come,” adds the source.
