At last, the much-awaited glimpse of superstar Jr NTR's "Devara" was unveiled today and it is a bit stunning and intriguing too. It showcases a unique world created and captured by ace director Koratala Siva who has delivered hits like "Janatha Garage" and "Srimanthudu" in the past.
Coming back to the glimpse, it truly transports us to a period of Indian pirates, and it is quite appealing from the first frame, with visuals of international standards. Even as colour palette resembles the likes of Games Of Thrones. Koratala Siva surely delivers a visual feast for Nandamuri fans and general audience too. Along with visual effects and cinematography which deserve appreciation, particularly, the the underwater and on-the-sea visuals.
Like always, the scion of Nandamuri family shines brightly and rises like a phoenix, as he creates a blood moon in the Red Sea, with the blood bath he creates by slashing his enemies on the sands, shores and on ships. His apt body language, intensity in the eyes, and dynamic look convey a lot more than his word. Especially the ‘moon’ shot is top-notch, for its visual and NTR as well. And towards the end, the dialogue he says, “Ee samudram sepalakante ekkuva.. katthulni netturni choosindi.. anduke deenni erra samudram antaam”, which hints at what we can expect from “Devara” in the days to come.
After gaining worldwide success and recognition, NTR is banking on his home production to recreate the magic of "RRR" all over the world. Jahnvi Kapoor plays in a love interest, while Saif Ali Khan will be seen in an antagonist role in this breathtaking action adventure set for release in April, 2024.
