RGV's open letter to Film Chamber

The filmmaker questioned the Chamber about the above mentioned line and why they apologised.

Ram Gopal Varma once again raises his voice in the drugs scandal that shook Tollywood. Recently the Telugu Film Chamber gave a memorandum to the Government of Telangana about the handling of Tollywood personalities in the case. They requested that the investigation be conducted in a discreet manner. In its letter the Chamber said, ‘Because of a few people, the entire industry got a bad name, which is very sad’.

The filmmaker questioned the Chamber about the above mentioned line and why they apologised. “The people who were questioned never admitted to any mistake and neither did the cops conclude anything. Then why did the Chamber send an apology letter and how can they decide that those who were questioned were found guilty? Instead of writing an apology, the Chamber should ask the authorities how they concluded that everyone who got notices actually did something wrong, without proving anything,” wrote RGV.
