Actor Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Duvvada Jagganadham has been doing great pre-release business. Just days after making news for a whopping sale of rights in Hindi, the teaser was launched at an event in Hyderabad on Tuesday and went on to trend for over 48 hours, achieving a “non-Baahubali” record of 7.4 million views within 24 hours of being released on social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube.
This is the highest for a film in South India after Baahubali: The Conclusion. The Harish Shankar-directorial venture is set for a release on June 23 and the makers are planning an audio launch soon. Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film stars Pooja Hegde and Rao Ramesh in key roles while Devi Sri Prasad has scored the film’s tunes.
