Actor Sundeep speaks about past relationships
Sundeep Kishan turned a year older on Thursday, but chose not to celebrate the occasion because of the ongoing lockdown. “I have never celebrated birthdays lavishly; I always preferred to keep my birthday bashes, if any, low key affairs,” revealed Sundeep, adding that he is maturing with age and that his decade-long journey in showbiz has been enriching. “What I have realised is that life has ups and downs, so it is all about enjoying the moment,” said the Venkatadri Express star.
Revealing that he had been in back-to-back relationships earlier, Sundeep said, “I generally take a very long time to get into a relationship, and they lasted long too. But I can tell you that it was a beautiful phase. What I realised was that relationships were meant to be cherished.” He however confessed that break-ups took a toll on him.
“Everyone has their own way of dealing with break-ups. Professionally too, my films haven’t been doing well and things were haywire back then. So, it was a wakeup call for me. I took it in my stride and started to move on and focus more on work. I have been a fighter throughout, and I finally tasted success last year with Ninu Veedani Needanu Nene.” He revealed that he has been single for the last three years. Meanwhile, the actor’s upcoming film, A1 Express, is in the last leg of production. “We have 16 days of shooting left; we are in no hurry to commence shooting. Recently, the entire unit saw the film online and felt very happy about the way it has shaped up,” he signed off.
