Raakshasudu happens to be one of the many projects that Bellamkonda Sreenivas is pursuing at the moment. Anupama Parameshwaran has been assigned the female lead role in the film, directed by Rakesh Sharma. The first look of this film released on Saturday on the occasion of Ugadi.
Raakshasudu happens to be the title of one of Chiranjeevi’s hit movies and therefore, the makers are using the same title for their film.
With the intent of completing the movie as early as possible, the film’s team has been working 24x7 on the floors. “It’s a crime thriller wherein Sreenivas is playing an honest police officer. The director Ramesh Varma is doing an interesting job with the film and it’s certainly going to be a novel concept for the Telugu audience,” said Havish Koneru, the film’s producer. He added that the film is a remake of Tamil film Ratsasan.
