Actress Bhagyashree is all smiles as she signs her next Telugu project. Titled Kitty Party, the film is going to be directed by Sundar Pavan and produced by Bhogendra Gupta. The logo of this women-centric film was launched in Hyderabad a few days ago. Talking about the film, Bhagyashree said, “When director Sundar Pavan narrated the script to me, I felt that the plotline is novel and innovative. Kitty Party is more than just a chick flick. It expounds the husband-wife and girlfriend-boyfriend relationships. The film basically talks about what men like to know about women, and emphasises the value of deeper bonding in relationships.”
The film features an ensemble cast including Madhubala, Deepti Bhatnagar, Suman Ranganathan, Sada, and Pooja Jhaveri. “What makes this project really exciting is that I’ve known Madhu, Deepti, and Suman for several years now and I am looking forward to having fun with them on the sets. It will be a nostalgic moment for me when we begin shooting for the film on Women’s Day.”
So is she playing a housewife in the film? “To find out, you must wait for the film to release,” quips the Maine Pyar Kiya actress.
