Celebrations are on at actor Venkatesh’s house following his elder daughter Aashrita’s engagement to Vinayak, an engineer and the grandson of R. Surender Reddy, Chairman of Hyderabad Race Club, on Wednesday.
“The wedding date has been fixed for March 24,” says a source close to the family, adding that the venue has still not been decided.
As per reports, it’s an arranged match. “The family elders came together and fixed this alliance. Now, with the marriage date finalised, the family is making preparations for the wedding,” adds the source.
Interestingly, the Daggubati family has always maintained a low profile, which is probably why Suresh Babu performed his daughter’s marriage at the Rama Naidu studios in Nanakramguda sans any media persons. Sources tell us Venkatesh too wants simple, small wedding. It maybe a destination wedding in Jaipur, where close family and friends are invited. Another option is their family studio.
