Actress Naina Ganguly, who recently played the leading lady in Ram Gopal Varma’s disastrous production Beautiful, is set to team up with the filmmaker again for another action–entertainer. Fans and followers might remember that the actress’s previous film with the once-upon-a-time illustrious filmmaker — who has for a while been consistently serving up trash in the name of cinema — tanked at the box office.
But apparently, this was a project that Naina had agreed to be a part of much before the release of Beautiful.
While it’s not sure whether RGV would direct the film or produce it, the question is whether this actress–director combination will interest the trade.
“RGV hasn’t been having the ordinary run at the box office — be it for his directorial or productions. However, given his directorial abilities, it’s just a matter time before he strikes success at the ticket window,” reasons a source.
