Director Puri Jagannadh’s last few films did not do well at the box-office. He was criticised by audiences who felt that his scripts did not have anything new to say. So he is now joining hands with actor Ram Pothineni for the film iSmart Shankar. The director has prepared a fresh subject for this film.
“Puri distanced himself from all the negative people and prepared the script to comeback in a strong way. He told his close associates that whoever had criticised him, would definitely praise him after seeing his upcoming film,” says a source close to the director. Puri analysed his last few films, figured out what went wrong and where, and then prepared this new script, added the source.
Recently, the first look of the film was released and he wants to start shooting soon. Charmme is supervising the project and she is also one of the producers along with Puri Jagannadh.
