SJ Suryah in Bogan remake?

The film will be directed by Lakshman, who helmed the original version.

Looks like the Telugu remake of the superhit Tamil supernatural thriller Bogan has a new addition! While actor Ravi Teja reprises the role of Jayam Ravi and Catherine Tresa takes on the mantle from Hansika Motwani, a source in the know reveals that S.J. Suryah has been approached to play Arvind Swamy’s role.

“As the character has got shades of grey, the makers were really keen to rope in someone who could pull it off with ease. Also, Suryah isn’t an unfamiliar face in the industry. However, he’d surely bring freshness to the table especially since he hasn’t been seen for a long time by the audiences here. While SPYder will see him in a full fledged negative role, the remake of Bogan could mean seeing more of him,” shares a source in the know.

The film will be directed by Lakshman, who helmed the original version. Presently, pre-production work for the Telugu version is underway.
