The actress has been paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda in a film to be directed by Parasuram.

After Lavanya Tripathi walked out of Vijay Deverakonda’s next with director Parasuram, a production of Geetha Arts, Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.
A source reveals, “After Lavanya quit the film, the team started searching for a new actress. While several names were considered, the makers felt Rashmika was a perfect fit for the role, especially since she's a fresh face.”
Presently, Rashmika is playing the female lead in actor Naga Shaurya’s film with debutant director Venky Kudumula. Vijay Deverakonda, who is high on the success of Arjun Reddy, will begin shooting for this film, which is touted to be an entertainer.
