Manjima Mohan, who debuted opposite Naga Chaitanya in Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo is all set to be a part of the Malayalam remake of the Hindi film Queen.
“The makers have decided to cast a different actress in every South language the film is being remade in. While Tamannaah was roped in for Telugu, Manjima is on board for Malayalam. Kajal is part of the Tamil remake,” says a source.
Telugu director Neelakanta will helm both the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film, while someone else will wield the megaphone for the Tamil remake.
After her Telugu debut, Manjima got good reviews for her performance, but didn’t sign any Telugu film thereafter. She went on to signed a few Tamil films, and the Queen remake is going to be her second Malayalam film.
