Filmmaker Annamreddy Krishna Kumar, who earlier bankrolled films like Sakhiya Naatho Raa and Best Actors, is bankrolling Sai Pallavi’s Malayalam film, Athiran (to be called as Anukoni Athidhi in Telugu).
He states that he was thoroughly impressed with the psychological thriller, which is why he decided to release it in Telugu. Directed by Vivek, the film features Sai Pallavi and Fahadh Faasil. “The film is very gripping; I believe the story has a wider appeal and can be told in various other languages too. The post-production works are in full swing. Sai Pallavi in Fidaa and Padi Padi Leche Manasu has already charmed Telugu audience with her performance. She’s a performer and commands huge following in Telugu.”
Krishna Kumar is also planning to produce another Telugu film. “It’s a new-age film and the story will cater to all sections of the audience. The cast and crew will be finalised soon,”he shares.
