After a five-year hiatus, director Praveen Sri is back in the game. The filmmaker, who earlier directed Jagapathi Babu in Gayam 2 and Chaitanya Krishna in Kali Charan, will commence his next project soon.
He’s making a comeback with an interesting love story, which is set in Varanasi. The film, titled Parvathy, will be another concept-based film that is high on emotions. Abhishek Nama is backing the project, which will go on floors soon.
A source in the know reveals, “One of the reasons the production house is backing the project is because of the unique plotline. They felt the idea of a love story set in Varanasi was interesting.”
The makers are planning to rope in reputed names as the male and female leads. The director is currently working on fine-tuning the script.
