Antham is set to release on Friday and the lead actors haven’t been promoting the film. The reason? Rashmi Gautam, of Jabardast fame, is apparently upset with the director of the film. "I don’t care about the film anymore, as the makers deceived me and are promoting misleading content. I will not promote the film," says Rashmi.

The shooting of the film began a few years ago and it was initially titled Vyuham. Later, the title was changed to Antham, and since then a raunchy song of Rashmi is being used for the promotions. "Director Kalyan told me that he wanted to complete the film in seven days. I accepted the film since the content was good and I wanted to encourage new talent, as he was debuting. After the film was completed, that’s when the conflict began. I wasn’t even informed about the release of the first look," Rashmi reveals.

Both the lead actors have hence skipped the promotions. The remix of the popular song Ee Velalo from Krishna Vamsi’s Gulabi is being used in the trailers.
The actress is accusing the makers that only that song is being used and not the actual content of the film. "What’s been shown in the trailers is not even a part of the film," she informs.

"I told the director that it is not fair to mislead the audience, as they’ll be disappointed after watching the film," she said. The director is reportedly using the song to attract the audience.
