Sai Dharam Tej, who is in need of a break, has his hopes pinned on the upcoming film Tej I Love You. Directed by Karunakaran, the romantic entertainer stars Anupama Parameshwaran as the female lead.
Makers of the film plan to conduct a big audio event in Hyderabad on June 9. “K.S. Rama Rao is close to Chiranjeevi, so he has invited the megastar to grace the event as the chief guest,” a source informs.
Promotions for the film have already begun. The cast and crew recently played a cricket match against a team of radio jockeys and released a song from the film on the occasion.
Tej, who has delivered five successive flops, hopes that this film will bring him some luck. “Karunakaran is an experienced and sensible director. So unlike his earlier films, this one may not be bad. Tej is confident,” the source says. Let’s hope Chiranjeevi’s presence at the audio event generates some much-needed buzz.
