It looks like actor Rana Daggubati, who has mostly played subtle and serious characters in his career, has taken a new route with his next, Nene Raju Nene Mantri. A glimpse of the film’s teaser, which was released on Tuesday, reveals that the actor will be seen in an almost massy avatar with shades of grey, mouthing what seem like the typical Tollywood style punch dialogues.
“He has always chosen to do different films from the rest of the stars of his generation. This one will be one such attempt but it will bring him into a different league altogether,” shares a source.
Co-starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead, the film, directed by Teja, also stars Catherine Tresa, Ashutosh Rana and Navdeep, and is set to have a vast release in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi as well.
