Daisy Edgar Jones walks out of Rajamouli\'s RRR

In an unfortunate development, due to a change in schedules, the actor had to leave the film.

The director Rajamouli had recently announced that he had roped in the British actress Daisy Edgar Jones as one of the female leads in his upcoming film RRR. Unfortunately, she is no longer part of the movie.

Daisy had been assigned to play the female lead role opposite Jr. NTR’s character, Komaram Bheen, in the period drama. In the story, which is set in the 1930s, the young NTR falls in love with a British girl, who Daisy was supposed to enact.

However, Ram Charan recently met with an accident due to which the makers have had to postpone the film’s shooting by three weeks. Consequently, everything had to be rescheduled and the actress could not adjust her dates and left.

“Owing to unavoidable circumstances, @DaisyEdgarJones is no longer a part of our film. We wish her a brilliant future. #RRR (sic)”, said the team of RRR in a tweet about Edgar’s exit from the film.

Rajamouli, on the other hand, posted a tweet about how the film’s team was able to complete the shoot as per schedule despite the setback. “Despite the setback, we have managed to finish #RRR’s Gujarat schedule on time. Grateful to the people of Dharmaj and Siddhpur for their cooperation and hospitality. Home for Ugadi.. (sic),”he wrote in the tweet.
